July 4th Schedule (2024)

10:00-11:00 AM The finest bakers in all the land will submit their award winning pies for the Pie Contest! Pssst! There's a way to taste success, the winning pies and rest of the field will be up for auction later in the afternoon! Click here for more details...
 
11:30 AM The streets along the parade route will be closing for through traffic. Same pattern as last few years. Pssst! There's still ways to access parking, but you have to know the directions to travel to get there safely before Noon. Click here for more details...

1:00 PM Honoring America and All Who've Served with the Raising of Colors. Pssst! There'll be speakers setup along the 76th Street parade route for those who didn't line up (camp out!) in prime viewing position.

1:10 PM (Estimated) Children's Parade will begin where they'll immediately follow the Color Guard so they can rejoin their family for the main parade. Pssst! All children are encouraged to participate. Click here for more details...

1:45 PM (Estimated) After allowing time for the children to parade and reunite with their families, the Main Parade will begin. Pssst! Did you know parade participants can be awarded prizes within of various categories? Nearly anyone can register to enter! There's also many individually wrapped sweet prizes tossed to the children during the parade. Click here for more details...

After Main Parade (I lost track of the time amidst all this fun) Don't dart off, this was just the kickoff to even more fun! Pssst! Cow Pie Raffle, Kid's Tractor Pulls, there'll be plenty of food venders (BBQ Truck, Pine Acres popcorn, Blooming Onion from the Depot, Taste of Sole), Petting Zoo with Pony Rides, and adults (21+) can purchase ice cold beer. Click here for more details...

3:00-4:00 PM The King is back for one more round! Pssst! I'm talking Elvis. Rumor has it he'll be on the grounds during this time.

4:00-6:00 PM Auction Time. Don't go home empty handed! Pssst! Remember we're a non-profit group of volunteers that do not use tax money to fund this festival -- we need to raise funds to put on future events. Auctions and beer sales are our two leading ways you can help ensure our Raymond traditions live on!

7:00 PM Silent Auction and Basket Raffle Ends.

9:30 PM Fireworks! John Adams wrote [paraphrasing] that there should be illuminations from one end of the continent to the other - we'll do our part! Pssst! Did you know that at auction you can win a special roped off VIP viewing area for you and your immediate family?! Tip! buy your brews and adult alternative drinks prior to this time as beer service is paused during fireworks so our volunteers can also enjoy the show!
