July 3rd Activities

Please join us on the 3rd of July at our annual Car Show, starting at 3:00 pm. Barn Dance, starting at 6:00pm. Filled with food, drink, music and fun, there's something for the whole family! There's plenty of local vendors to get your fill on ice cream, blooming onions, burgers, corn, brats, and anything else you could imagine. You'll also find beer and wine coolers to quench your thirst! Have a seat and enjoy the evening listening to our live band "Southbound"
 

An ATM will be located on the grounds for your convenience.
 

Fourth Annual Car Show FREE
 

Car, Tractor, Truck and Motorcycle show beginning at 3:00pm on July 3rd. All participants are welcome to participate in the parade on the 4th as well. Please contact Tim (262-497-5485)  with any questions you may have. 
 

2018 Main Stage Band on the 3rd
 

7:30pm-11:30pm, "Southbound!" Join band members Stan Lukasz, Tim Schulz, Dan Hanson, Tony May and Drew Rittgers fresh off their tour that included Summerfest! Influenced by the likes of Stones, Beatles, Allman Brothers, Zep, get ready for a night filled with classic rock. Check out their website for a preview.

 
 
 
 

July 4th Activities and the Main Parade

2019 Theme: "Proud and Free"
 

Parade begins at the Raymond Town Hall: 2255 S. 76th Street, Franksville, WI 53126 and ends at Raymond School: 2659 S. 76th Street, Franksville, WI 53126

The 4th of July is filled with lots of fun! Bring your chairs and blankets early to get your seats for the parade, they fill up fast! Our parade route starts at the Raymond Town Hall and ends at Raymond School.

Streets closed 11:30am - 3:00pm

There will be NO parking at the Raymond School before the parade. There is access to a parking lot on 5 Mile Road which must be accessed from the west ONLY from 11:30 - 3:30. NO access from Waukesha Road or County Hwy G after 11:30.

Handicap parking is available from the parking lot on the south side of 5 Mile Road (FOLLOW SIGNS).

There is another Parking Lot across from Raymond School on the east side of 76th Street, located 1/2 mile north of Hwy K. Traffic parking in this lot MUST enter before 12:15 pm. When this parking lot across the street from the school is FULL, all other traffic will be rerouted to the 5 Mile Road parking lot. The street closures will reopen after 3:30pm, NO EARLIER.

Raising Of Colors 1:00 pm
 
Children's Parade follows the Raising of Colors
 

Decorate tricycles, bicycles, coaster wagons, your pet or anything available and be a part of the children's parade. No Pre-registration is required. Only non-motorized vehicles are permitted in this section of the parade. The children will follow the Color Guard so that they can join their families for the rest of the parade.  If you have questions, please contact Terry Gifford at 262.994.9250

We encourage people of all ages, all clubs,

businesses, organizations, and churches to

participate in the parade.  Registration Forms

should be mailed by June 20th.  Any questions

contact us.

IF YOU PLAN TO HAND OUT CANDY, YOU MUST HAVE SOMEONE WALKING WITH THE CANDY, HANDING IT OUT. THERE IS NO THROWING CANDY FROM FLOATS. WE DO NOT WANT ANY INJURIES ON THIS JOYOUS DAY.

Following the Parade on the Festival Grounds:

Kid's Pedal Tractor Pull - immediately following the Parade

ELVIS will be on the grounds from 3:00pm-4:00pm!!

Kids Games from 3:00pm-5:00pm

Cowpie Bingo sponsored by the Raymond Fire & Rescue Department

Auctions

Live Auction at 4:00pm

Flower & Pie Auction - will be mixed into the Live Auction

Fireworks 9:30pm (Dusk)
 

  • Huge, Privately Funded (no tax payer dollars) Fireworks display!

  • Bring your lawn chairs, blankets & bug spray. You may set up your area after the parade.

  • Leave your fireworks at home since the grounds are patrolled by a security force and the Racine County Sheriffs Department.

  • PLEASE, no glass or charcoal grills on the festival grounds!!!

  • Drive responsibly, as there are many children enjoying the activities.

How do I HELP make Raymond 3rd and 4th happen?

How do I enter my PIE in the contest/auction?

Bring your homemade pies to the beer tent between 10:00am and 11:00am. Road will be closed at 11:00am. All pies should be in disposable tins. Winners will be announced during the parade and the pies will be auctioned. All questions regarding the pie auction contest should be directed to Stacy at 262-880-5055. Judging begins at 11:00.
